2024 General Election

A General Election is an election in which candidates are elected to offices. This is in contrast to a primary election, which is used either to narrow the field of candidates for a given elective office or to determine the nominees for political parties in advance of a general election.

Below you will find the 2024 General Election Voter Guide published by the New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office. The Voter Guides include information about proposed constitutional amendments, general obligation bonds, general information about voting in New Mexico. Regular Local Elections take place in November of odd number years and include candidates from local municipalities.
